We remember ourselves home: An enchanted invocation for conviviality and IxCacao

Cacao helps us to create a space where masks drop, tenderness rises and people meet each other in their humanness. Living well through the lens of cacao means choosing to slow down, listen deeply and offer love freely. It is a practice of remembering that self-love is very much interwoven with community care.
For this final session of evening talks for the summer, join Babu and Moss in a heartfelt offering and exploration of what it means to create a soft circle in which to stir the sacred, sip slowly and move ourselves gently back into the heart of things.
We will learn about the mythological and historical context of cacao, its health benefits, listen to a cacao prayer while drinking, and then embody its goodness in a gentle somatic and musical setting.
How might we honour the sacredness of the moment, while keeping it human, accessible and real? What helps us to feel safe enough to open to love - within and around?
This will be a more intimate group than normal - we're going small and sweet with just 15 tickets available. Dinner will be cooked with cacao nibs to open our hearts even further.
Speakers
Babu (he/him) is a touch therapist, DJ and devoted community weaver rooted in Cornwall with proud Guyanese ancestry in his bones. is offerings are shaped by a reverence for the body, the land, music, and the unseen inviting others to return to themselves through stillness, sensation, and connection. Whether through healing touch, cacao space holding, poetry or sound, Babu creates spaces where people can soften, be held, and remember what matters. His path is one of quiet devotion weaving people together, nurturing belonging and listening for the threads that bind us to ourselves, to each other and to something greater.
Moss (they/them) is an intuitive mover, fine artist and creative guide rooted in deep presence and soulful connection. With a background in fine art and a natural attunement to the subtle rhythms of movement and meaning. Moss brings tenderness and depth into every space they hold. Their work invites others to slow down, feel into their bodies and rediscover the stories spoken through gesture, stillness and flow. Moss weaves creativity and soul into community, nurturing spaces where vulnerability is welcomed and the quiet magic of being seen unfolds.
Together, Moss and Babu create cacao-led spaces at festivals across the UK, which include somatics, ecstatic dance and other musical offerings.
And so we sit.
In circle. In warmth.
Not to fix. Not to lead. Not to follow.
But to remember.
