Quiet Pen Mornings: a Tuesday morning silent writing circle
with Sirpa Walton
Tickets: https://tktp.as/EMVTRE
Step into a calm, quietly luminous space where writers of all kinds gather to create side by side. Whether you’re shaping a poem, drafting a novel, developing a research article, revising a thesis chapter, or simply following a thread of thought across the page, you are warmly invited. Each session begins with the offering of an optional writing prompt; a small spark to light the way, or to take you on a new path, though you’re equally free to simply journey deeper into your own work-in-progress, in any genre or form.
Our intention is simple: to soften the solitude of the writing path through quiet companionship and gentle collegial support. This is a place to settle, focus, and feel held by a community that understands the mysteries and challenges of putting words into the world. There’s no need to share your work, though there is always space for those who wish to read, or share what has arisen at the end. Come as you are, write what calls to you, and let the steady encouragement of shared creative time guide you forward.
Quiet Pen Mornings gather at the Convivial on the second Tuesday morning of every month from 9.15-11.30am starting January 13th 2026. There is potential for the session to be held fortnightly or weekly depending on desire.
