Yoga for Charity: A 5-week course

Yoga for Charity: A 5-week course

with Ida Asadi

Booking link to come shortly!

Yoga for Charity is a series of five classes offered by Ida Asadi to raise money for free-them-now, a charity which helps political prisoners and jailed workers in Iran, as well as those forced to flee the country.

The focus of these classes will be around gentle movements with long holds, and some qi-gong and breathwork included. Held in the beautiful and cosy space of The Convivial.

Tickets

There are just 5 places available for this course to ensure both an intimate and spacious gathering.

The suggested donations are:

  • Low/no spare income: £25 (£5 per session)

  • Medium spare income: £50 (£10 per session)

  • High spare income: £75 (£15 per session)

All proceeds will go to Ida’s named charity. Please reach out to Ida at idaishere64@gmail.com if you would like to attend the sessions but are struggling financially. We do not wish for cost to be a barrier.

What to bring:

You’ll need to bring your own mat for these sessions.

We have a number of blankets and the space is heated, but you may wish to bring an extra layer if you tend to get particularly chilly!

Accessibility

Please get in touch with Ida using the email above to discuss any needs you might have in the space.

Teacher

Ida is a Trainee Yoga Teacher interested in body practices that help us remember these bodies we inhabit! Her discipline focuses on holding postures with correct alignment and regulating the nervous system. Eventually, her aim is to work towards a practice of using systems of yoga and ayurveda for those suffering with complex trauma and PTSD.
