The Convivial AGM

By mid July, The Convivial will have been operating for nearly two years, and will soon be undergoing a transition to a collectively held structure! This has been underway for a year with a group of six guides, who have been generously working with Sophie to create an ethos and set of aims for the space. Now we would like to share what we’ve been working on — and invite you into it.

On Saturday 18th July 2026, 10-2.30pm, The Convivial will hold its first Annual General Meeting. This is an opportunity to hear more about what The Convivial wants to do going forward, feed in your hopes and dreams for the space and, if you wish, get more involved with the organising.

The Convivial started with three questions:

• How might a community teach ourselves?

• How might we co-create networks of mutual care and reciprocity?

• How might we fall back in love with the world around us?

Whether you are a regular at The Convivial, a curious onlooker, a facilitator or user of the space, you are most welcome to come along and hear more about what’s in store.
